Present at the ATI annual conference on Saturday, 28 September 2019!
ATI’s annual conference is the largest gathering of language services professionals, translators, interpreters, and agency owners in the state of Arizona. This year we are excited to welcome Eliana Lobo as keynote speaker.
In addition to the invited keynote presentation, the conference includes spots for approximately one dozen break-out presentations on a variety of topics of interest to language services professionals (click here to see last year’s schedule). This is a great opportunity for professionals within and connected to language services to contribute to professional education in Arizona and promote their own brands and ideas.
We welcome proposals for presentations relevant to all aspects of language services, from translation and interpretation theory, ethics, and technology, to business practices, industry trends, the regulatory environment, and any other topics of interest to language services professionals. Presentations may represent or focus on any combination of a broad range of language service domains and professional specialties, such as healthcare, law, education, literature, compliance, media, science/technology, social media, terminology, or operating a language services provider. The deadline for submission is on or by July 1, 2019. You will be notified by July 12, 2019, about whether your proposal has been accepted. Details such as AV needs and handouts will be discussed subsequently with the selected presenters. Speakers receive complimentary conference registration and access to all conference-related meals and activities, including a pre-conference dinner on the evening of the 27th.
