Carolyn Sechler, CPA, CGMA is the CEO and founder of Sechler CPA PC, a Certified B Corporation, in Phoenix, Arizona. She brings more than 30 years of experience to her work in tax and strategic planning, financial reporting, management consulting, and executive coaching, primarily to nonprofits.
Her fully wired practice, which she calls a “virtual accounting firm,” demonstrates Carolyn’s belief in the liberating power of technology and its endless opportunities. Sechler CPA team members telecommute from their homes and connect with clients virtually, utilizing the latest technological tools to better meet their needs.
With over 400 domestic and international nonprofit clients, Sechler CPA’s emphasis on the nonprofit sector is a reflection of Carolyn’s passion for serving those who serve their community. In addition to her role as a CPA for nonprofits, Carolyn serves on a multitude of boards and advisory committees for organizations, including Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation, Native American Basketball Invitational Foundation, UMOM New Day Center, Raising Special Kids, and Alliance for Arizona Nonprofits.
Accounting Today magazine selected Carolyn as one of the “Top 100 Most Influential People in the Profession” from 1999-2001 for her efforts in setting new standards for the accounting profession.
