Ken Anders career began with in the U.S. Air Force and the discipline instilled in him during that time is still clearly present today. Most recently, Ken managed several language contact centers both in the U.S. and abroad as COO for a division of TransPerfect, a privately held corporation with a worldwide footprint. Prior to TransPerfect, Ken served in several executive positions with Fortune 500 companies like Language Line Solutions, The Walt Disney Company, Misys (an international software company) and even as President and CEO for a startup venture in Tucson, that is now one of the fastest growing companies in its space, CyraCom International. Additionally, and throughout his career, Ken has served on several non-profit boards both as an advisor/director and officer.

Ken is and has been member of national and international organizations and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. With a passion for helping others, Ken has been a champion in the Language Services industry helping organizations like the International Medical Interpreters Association and the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters achieve their objectives to insure non-English speaking medical patients receive an equivalent level of care. Ken is committed to quality and expansion of interpreting standards across languages and served for four years as the Vice-Chair of the National Board as well as Treasurer. His efforts were partly responsible for recognition by U.S. representatives of the need for reimbursable expenses for language services in healthcare an effort still moving forward today.

Ken Anders is a talented and seasoned executive with experience in business management, technology, board of directors, NPO, and consulting. He brings a wealth of expertise with particular strengths in areas such as operational efficiency concepts and development, technology integration and design, contract negotiation and management, and new product start-ups. Ken has solid domestic and international experience working within large corporations as well as direct oversight of new ventures.
Ken was most recently the Divisional President and Chief Operating Officer within TransPerfect (a $550M linguistic services company). The division Ken was asked to create quickly became the fastest growing operation in the TransPerfect family of companies. Started in 2011, Ken was given the challenge to build a new division from scratch. The objective is to deliver real-time language interpretation services in over 170 languages and dialects 7 x 24 x 365 using communications systems for voice, video and internet. Although there were already several major competitors in the field, Ken took on the challenge. With no staff, no facilities and a limited budget, Ken accepted the challenge and delivered the first live customer call within six months. Since then, this division has grown from zero revenue to over $16M annual with two fully redundant contact centers as well as several satellite centers located in Central America and Spain.
Before his current position, Ken held other Senior executive positions for companies like Misys, Language Line Solutions and the Walt Disney Company. These roles gave Ken a fully rounded perspective of varying business models in Entertainment, Healthcare IT and the linguistic service industries. In addition to his strong work ethic and dedication, Ken is also part of several non-profit organizations. He is currently supporting and is very involved with saving homeless animals by volunteering time with the “No Kill” movement in Arizona. Ken was acting treasurer for No Kill Pima County as well as helping to operate the Lifeline Oro Valley Animal Rescue, a 501c3 company dedicated to saving animals and has been working as a volunteer for over 20 years. Ken manages the company’s financials and fundraising efforts.
