Ken Anders career began with in the U.S. Air Force and the discipline instilled in him during that time is still clearly present today. Most recently, Ken overseen several language service companies as Chief Operating Officer for Akorbi, Inc. recently recognized as the largest woman-owned, privately-owned LSP in the US. Prior to Akorbi, Ken served in several executive positions with Fortune 500 companies like TransPerfect, Language Line Solutions, The Walt Disney Company, Misys Healthcare and even as President and CEO for CyraCom. Ken also serves on several non-profit boards both as an advisor/director and officer.

Ken has been a champion in the Language Services industry helping organizations like the International Medical Interpreters Association and the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters achieve their objectives to insure non-English speaking medical patients receive an equivalent level of care. Ken is committed to quality and expansion of interpreting standards across languages and served for four years as the Vice-Chair of the National Board as well as Treasurer. His efforts were partly responsible for recognition by U.S. representatives of the need for reimbursable expenses for language services in healthcare an effort still moving forward today.

Ken Anders is a talented and seasoned executive with experience in business management, technology, board of directors, NPO, and consulting. He brings a wealth of expertise with particular strengths in areas such as operational efficiency concepts and development, technology integration and design, contract negotiation and management, and new product start-ups. Ken has solid domestic and international experience working within large corporations as well as direct oversight of new ventures.

In addition to his strong work ethic and dedication, Ken is also part of several non-profit organizations. He is currently supporting and is very involved with saving homeless animals by volunteering time with the “No Kill” movement in Arizona. Ken was acting treasurer for No Kill Pima County as well as helping to operate the Lifeline Oro Valley Animal Rescue, a 501c3 company dedicated to saving animals and has been working as a volunteer for over 20 years.
